ROGÉRIO CARLSON
Managing Partner
Rogério holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Illinois. He is an invited member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi in recognition for academic excellence. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Marketing from Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil, and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Unisinos University, Brazil, where he graduated with highest honors while fulfilling an athletic scholarship. At Illinois, he worked in marketing projects involving the Arizona Diamondbacks (MLB), Chicago Bears (NFL), and Chicago Fire (MLS). He also worked as a research analyst for projects in sport marketing, consumer behavior and fan development, and community recreation.
Rogério played volleyball and beach volleyball in Brazil for over 15 years, participating in professional level competitions for almost ten years. He also has extensive knowledge of soccer, having played, studied and followed the sport for over 40 years. He completed courses of Soccer and Futsal training methodologies at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil (UFRGS), and attended several soccer seminars and workshops with some of Brazil’s best coaches, managers, and top professional clubs and governing bodies. Rogério speaks Portuguese and English and resides in San Diego, California.
TAWNIA GILLESPIE
Managing Partner
Tawnia holds Master’s degrees from the University of Illinois in Business Administration (MBA) and Education (M.Ed.), specializing in the fields of Marketing and International Human Resource Management, and holds a B.A. in International Business from San Diego State University. She is fluent in several languages, including Spanish and Portuguese. As a research analyst during her studies, she conducted field research projects in Taiwan and Thailand to investigate management patterns of international companies such as Ford, Unilever, UPS, and TSMC. She has consulted for international companies such as Mercúrio, in Brazil, training executives in Business English. In addition to her role as a market analyst for the company, Tawnia also has strong skills in the areas of sponsorship, endorsements, consumer behavior, and B2B. Tawnia has lived in Spain, Germany, Italy, and Brazil and currently resides in her hometown of San Diego, California.
FABRICIO MAGAYEVSKI
Associate Director - Brazil
Fabricio Magayevski holds a Master’s degree in Business and Management from Unisinos University in Brazil and from the University of Poitiers in France. He also has a Postgraduate degree in Strategic Marketing from ESPM in Brazil, and a Bachelor’s degree in Adverting. Prior to his graduate education, Fabricio studied ESL at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). Fabricio areas of expertise include Digital Marketing, Business Development and Corporate Training. As a consultant for SEBRAE and for his company Aceleração Comercial, Fabricio has assisted over 500 companies, and trained more than 2,500 executives and employees in topics such as strategic marketing, sales, digital marketing, and consumer engagement.”
BRUNO BEIDACKI
Multimedia & Emerging Technology Specialist
Bruno holds a Master’s degree in Media Business and Communications and a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism, both from Kent State University. After working for CBS News, he shifted gears and specialized in digital marketing, strategy, and emerging technology. Originally from Brazil, Bruno worked as a press officer at SOGIPA —one of the most successful Olympic training clubs in South America — and led the online efforts of ALL IN Magazine, a gaming and e-sports publication. Recently, Bruno served as the Head of U.S. Operations and Marketing Director for GlobalLife Sports & Entertainment, a boutique career and media management agency. He was also a Pulitzer Center fellow in Asia and an international correspondent in Switzerland. Bruno's areas of expertise include SEO, digital marketing analytics, social media management, content strategy, and emerging technology applied to media (including streaming, virtual and augmented reality, and artificial intelligence). He speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
GUILHERME “FIAPO” TENIUS
Strategic Partner & Senior Consultant - Volleyball and Beach Volleyball
Guilherme Tenius, also known as Fiapo was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He played volleyball for 14 years, played for the Brazil National Team U-17 and also for the championship of Portugal. In 1995 Guilherme received physiotherapy and a year later I began to work as assistant physiotherapist and technical assistant in Brazil women's Volleyball National Team. In 1997, I was employed as Coach assistant and the main physiotherapist of the Brazil Team and also the women's club team of Rexona Volleyball, where I worked for 20 years, having won 12 national championships. From 1997 to 2000, Fiapo was with Brazil Women's National Team and from 2001 to 2016 with the Men's National Team. During that In that period he participated in 5 Olympic Games (Sydney 2000 Bronze Medal / Athenas 2004 Gold Medal / Beijing 2008 Silver Medal / London 2012 Silver Medal and Rio de Janeiro 2016 Gold Medal), 5 World Championships (Japan 1998 4th place/ Argentina 2002 Gold Medal/ Italy 2010 Gold Medal and Poland 2014 Silver Medal), among many other competitions (8 World Leagues Gold Medals, 9 South America Championships Gold Medals). After the gold medal in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, he moved to California with my family, to contribute with his experience in the US. Currently Fiapo is on the coaching staff of the American beach volleyball team of April Ross and Alix Klineman.
EDUARDO “MORRUGA” BASSO
Strategic Partner & Senior Advisor - Futsal
Eduardo “Morruga” Basso is a Futsal World Champion. He was considered one of the world’s best futsal players of his time. He played Futsal professionally in Brazil and Spain for over 18 years and career highlights include nine years playing for the Brazilian National team, with participation in two Futsal World Championships. Since 1998, he has been the Head Coach for teams in Professional Futsal Leagues in Brazil and Italy, First Division. He holds a graduate degree in Soccer and Futsal Coaching Methodology and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. He was one of five people worldwide selected to be a member of the highly regarded FIFA Technical Study Group (TSG) for the FIFA Futsal World Cup Brazil, and is a FIFA Futsal Instructor, teaching futsal coaching to international coaches for their FIFA Licenses.
